India’s stand-in captain Virat Kohli and opener Shikhar Dhawan have risen to third and fifth places in the ICC ODI Batsmen’s Rankings respectively.
Virat Kohli, who became the quickest man to reach to 6000 runs in the ODIs in the second match of the five match ODI series against Sri Lanka, has scored 124 runs in the three matches of the series at an average of 41.33. On the other hand, Shikhar Dhawan has scored 283 runs in the same number of matches at an average of 94.33.
However, Indian captain MS Dhoni, who is missing the series due to injury, has slipped one place to seventh position.
