Indian batting sensation Virat Kohli has slammed people for criticizing his former girlfriend and Bollywood actress, on his Instagram account. Off late, Sharma had been made a laughing stock off, by people across the social media, linking her exit with Kohli’s relationship as a boon for the Indian batsman. It seems that the constant nagging and trolling by fans across the social media has irked the Indian batting heartthrob massively.
In the ICC World Cup 2015 semi final as well, Anushka was blamed for Kohli’s failure as she was present in the VIP stands of the Sydney Cricket Ground. On that occasion, after India crashed out of the World Cup, people in several parts of the nation had chanted slogans opposing Sharma and degrading her.
Kohli, after his stellar knock against Australia at Mohali, has had enough, and his emotions can be easily grasped after reading his message. He posted the following message along with an image captioned as “SHAME” on Instagram.
“Shame on those people who have been having a go at Anushka for the longest time and connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what I do with my sport. If anything she has only motivated and given me more positivity. This was a long time coming. Shame on these people that hide and take a dig. And I don’t need any respect for this post. Have some compassion and respect her. Think of how your sister or girlfriend or wife would feel if someone trolled them and very conveniently rubbished them in public. #nocompassion#nocommonsense”
