Batting sensation Virat Kohli is making fans all over the world with his extraordinary exploits on the field. The 27-year old’s flamboyance and consistency, has even made people from India’s arch-rivals, Pakistan, his fan. One such fan is Pakistan’s top umpire Aleem Dar’s son, Hassan Dar. Indian Test skipper and Aleem Dar are currently in West Indies for the Test series, and Aleem Dar took the opportunity to tell Kohli about his son’s obsession with the Indian run machine.
Kohli, who is known for his kind gestures, recorded a video message for Dar’s son. The video message got instantly popular on social media.
In the video message Kohli said: “Hello Hassan ji. I have received your video from your dad who is seated next to me. Thank you so much. As you said it is true that hard work and dedication are very important to achieve success in life so keep on working hard and believe in yourself.”
The star batsman signed off by inviting Hassan to meet him whenever Aleem Dar officiates matches involving India, and also promised to send him a signed bat.
