In the last Test match against South Africa in the Ranchi ground, a special guest was present during the match. The Ranchi boy, MS Dhoni, was present in the JSCA ground on the fourth day of the third Test match. On the fourth day, India needed two wickets to win the Test series and the task was completed debutant Shahbaz Nadeem. India won the three-match Test series against Proteas by 3-0.
MS Dhoni has not played any match for four months. After the disheartening semi-final defeat of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, the player announced that he will serve the Indian army. He took two months break from the game. He went to spent the time with his family in America.
After his return, everyone hoped that Dhoni will play the home T20I series against South Africa. But Dhoni had another plan and he made himself unavailable which increased the speculation of his retirement. Also, there are reports that he will not play the upcoming home T20I series against Bangladesh which is scheduled in November.
Virat Kohli’s savage reply
MS Dhoni was present in the Ranchi ground which has made everyone eager to hear him. In the post-match ceremony, Virat Kohli was asked about MS Dhoni’s future in cricket. The skipper has always spoken less on this subject and this time he gave a sarcastic answer.
Virat Kohli replied, “He is here, in the change-room, come and say hello to him.”
MS Dhoni’s future?
Nobody knows about the future of MS Dhoni. Everybody wants to know the answer to “what will be his next step?”. He was seen playing football for charity in Mumbai. Dhoni is ready to make debut in Bollywood film alongside Sanjay Dutt. However, he is silent on the future of his cricket.
Fans are waiting to see the player in the cricket ground playing for India. Though there is news that he will play ICC T20 World Cup 2020 which is scheduled in Australia.
