Virender Sehwag destroys Piers Morgan after India win Kabaddi World Cup 1

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has savaged British journalist Piers Morgan after India defeated Iran in the Kabaddi World Cup final to win their third successive World Cup title.

The hosts led by Ajay Thakur defeated Iran by 38-29 in the final on Saturday. India were trailing 13-18 till half-time but made a remarkable comeback in the second half to romp home to victory.

Meanwhile, Sehwag and Morgan had been involved in a war of words on Twitter ever since the British journo took a dig at India’s performance in Olympics. In reply, Sehwag trolled Morgan by saying that his country has failed to win a single World Cup in cricket despite inventing the game. Both of them remained silent for few days but the heated exchange of words started once again when Sehwag mocked England by taking a dig at their loss against India in the Kabaddi World Cup. He tweeted:“England loose in a World Cup again.Only the sport changes. This time it’s Kabaddi. India thrash them 69-18.All the best for semis”

Morgan retaliated by correcting Sehwag’s English.

Well, Sehwag finally had his chance to take revenge against Morgan after India won the World Cup. The former cricketer tweeted:India invented Kabaddi & r World Champs for 8th time.Elsewhere some country invented Cricket & r yet only good in correcting typos.”
