Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag is well known for his witty tweets in the micro-blogging site. Sehwag is one of the most active cricketers on social media. With India set to face Australia at The Oval on Sunday, there was clearly no shortage of banter when the dasher had a face-off with the former Australian wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist.

The 47-year-old Australian was a bit surprised to see Sehwag in a relaxed state ahead of the big clash. He sent a few volleys of words at Sehwag by asking whether he is set to pack his bags and go home. Sehwag clearly didn’t mince any words and advised Gilchrist to sip tea from a plate as he feels India will clinch the World Cup this time.

India-Australia set to be a high octane clash

It was all part of Puma cricket’s campaign for the mega event. Earlier, Indian skipper Virat Kohli was seen shaking a leg with rapper Divine in a video. The Indian team started their campaign on a solid note by beating South Africa by 6 wickets. On the other hand, Australia have had a smooth ride so far. The defending champions snatched a win from the jaws of defeat against the Windies.

For India, it was Rohit Sharma, whose unbeaten hundred resulted in a massive win. The Indian vice-captain isn’t relying much on the past and feels the side that will play better cricket on the given day will have an edge. The Australian bowling attack, led by Mitchell Starc will be a major factor of worry for the men in blue. Aaron Finch’s men have peaked at the right time and look threatening.

However, Indian batters have the best average against fast bowlers since the previous World Cup. They have done reasonably well with the bat in white-ball cricket and the onus will be on the top-order to fire through all cylinders.
