The Story:
Virender Sehwag and his unique style of wishing birthday is pretty much very well-known social media phenomenon. Sehwag can be credited for adding the comical twist in the way we wish our dear ones on their birthday.
Harbhajan Singh, the Indian off-spinner, celebrates his 36th birthday today. Fans, as expected, were happy and flooded him with good wishes. But, among all the heaps of “happy birthday” wishes, Sehwag’s message stood out completely.
Sehwag’s most recent birthday tweet came with a small twist. It seemed as if the trend of ‘Monday Motivation’ took over his comical senses as he wished his pal, Harbhajan Singh, with a highly motivating message.
He tweeted: “Happy B’ day @harbhajan_singh. From thinking of going to Canada & bcum a truck driver to support the family, to becoming 1 of d best bowlers, great journey.”

Sehwag recalled Harbhajan’s struggle during his teens and congratulated him for achieving success in his life despite the odds.
Humble beginnings and struggle

Bhajji’s story is truly inspirational. The lanky off-spinner belonged to the poor family and was the only brother to four sisters. His mother was a homemaker and the responsibility of his family fell upon his shoulders at a young age after his father died in the year 2000.
The young cricketer, who once tried escaping from the NCA due to homesickness, was now left with the responsibility of his family and faced a financial crisis after being dropped from the Indian team after his debut in 1998. His time as the cricketing superstar was yet to arrive
The early struggle of making the ends meet for his family forced him to think about quitting the game and migrating alone to Canada to earn a better income for his family. However, his talent soon helped him find a way out of the tough times and by the end of the same decade he was already counted as one of the legendary spinners in the cricketing world.
