Virender Sehwag, who is famous for his unique one-liners on Twitter, has taunted on the SunRisers Hyderabad batting depth after they set a below-par target even though they had wickets in hand.
SunRisers Hyderabad lost the wickets of opener Jonny Bairstow and David Warner for 59 runs. Manish Pandey also lost his wicket after scoring 51 runs. Wriddhiman Saha and Mohammad Nabi were left to bat in the last two overs but they failed to accelerate the innings for SRH. Eventually, setting a 143 run target at the loss of four wickets.
Virender Sehwag, in the latest video uploaded on Facebook, pointed out that SRH’s batting depth looks ‘gareeb’ (poor) like the house of 3 Idiots’ character’s Raju Rastogi. He also jokingly said that Manish Panday’s batting is like Chinese goods. The former Indian cricketer further praised KKR’s captain Dinesh Karthik’s strategy as it suffocated SRH’s batsman to score runs.
Kolkata Knight Riders also consecutive wickets of top-order Sunil Narine and Nitish Rana, who stayed short but gathered 26 runs in 13 balls. The skipper Dinesh Karthik also lost his wicket without scoring a run. But the opening batsman Shubman Gill and middle-order batsman Eoin Morgan set over 90 runs partnership and sealed the win. Gill scored his first half-century of the tournament as they won the first match of the tournament by seven wickets.

Meanwhile, SunRisers Hyderabad faced two consecutive defeat. They had also lost their opener match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
The IPL 2016 winner is struggling to find a proper middle-order combination who can slog over and take the team forward. Kane Williamson is injured. So, the team will hope that he recovers soon and join them.
With the next match scheduled on Tuesday against Delhi Capitals, they will have to come back stronger as they are two down in the IPL 2020.
