Former Indian top-order batsman Virender Sehwag has extended his hand to bear the expenses of CRPF Jawans’ children’s education who lost their lives in the despicable attack on the convoy at Lethpora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) State on February 14.
Sehwag, who will take care of the complete education of soldiers’ children, revealed the heartwarming gesture on his Twitter account.
The 40-year-old explosive opening batsman of his time, Sehwag has taken a great initiative to support those children at his Sehwag International School, Jhajjar in Gurgaon. He decided to take care of all the expenses regarding their education. Well, the school aims to provide exposure to students to further focus on co-curricular activities.
On such aspect, many have hailed his decision to contribute in the best possible way.
Following the unfortunate car-bomb attack in which at least 50 CRPF soldiers lost precious lives with over dozens injured.
The cricketers including Sehwag recorded statement to express pain and anger regarding the recent attack.

Sehwag maintained whatever they will do is not enough. However, he added he would be fortunate to do a bit for the children’s of CRPF jawans.
“Nothing we can do will be enough, but the least I can do is offer to take complete care of the education of the children of our brave CRPF jawans martyred in #Pulwama in my Sehwag International School @SehwagSchool , Jhajjar. Saubhagya Hoga,” Sehwag tweeted.
The gesture from Sehwag is one of the noble causes many have had opted for in such a crucial situation. The recent Pulwama attack is a national tragedy; however, the contribution has often been considered as a gesture to back those families who have witnessed their loved ones sacrificing lives in the line of duty.
The latest tweet from Sehwag carries the names of CRPF personnel with their photographs.
