Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag is known to have a tremendous sense of humor. In his playing days as well, Sehwag was often witnessed cracking a witty joke, and having a laugh with his teammates or even his opponents for that matter. Post his retirement, Sehwag is currently serving as the mentor of the Kings XI Punjab in the IPL.
The Kings XI, like the previous season, have had an underwhelming IPL and have struggled. After beginning with South African batsman David Miller as the skipper, the franchise soon appointed Indian test opener M. Vijay as the captain. Vijay as a skipper has been impressive but it has just been a little too late.
With the Kings XI stuck at 8 points in 12 games, their campaign is all but over. Sehwag, took to Twitter to make his sense of humor pretty obvious. The Nawab of Najafgarh tweeted that photoshopping and editing the points table was probably the only way for the Kings XI to qualify for the playoffs. This tweet from Sehwag definitely made a lot of his fans giggle.
In that tweet, Sehwag also added that despite being out, the Kings XI would give their absolute best in the remaining games. It is a true gesture of sportsmanship from an incredible star of the game. Check out Sehwag’s tweet below.
