Virender Sehwag’s tweets are one of the things on social media that every cricket fan looks up to everyday. The former swashbuckling opener has taken Twitter by storm. Viru, as he is fondly know, has carved a niche on the social media. His witty one-liners keep the fans entertained just like he used to do in his playing days.
The former batsman never forgets to wish famous personalities on their birthday and so it was quite impossible that he would forget to wish Dipa Karmakar, the gymnast who has created history in the Rio Olympics, on her birthday.
Karmakar, who turned 23 on August 9, became the first Indian gymnast to enter the Olympic final. She qualified for the final round in the Individual vault final of artistic gymnastics after finishing eighth on the standings on Sunday(August 7).
Wishing on her birthday, Sehwag added his own flavour to the tweet.
Here is the tweet:
Happy Birthday #DipaKarmakar

Meanwhile, hours after creating history, Dipa Karmakar clinched the gold in vaults finals at the test event of the Rio Games on Monday(August 8). The final will be held on August 14 and we really hope that Karmakar’s beautiful journey ends with a medal.
