Kings XI Punjab opener KL Rahul celebrates his 26th birthday today (Wednesday). Virender Sehwag, the man behind KXIP going all out for him at INR 11 crore this two-day mega-auction, wished him on his special day on Twitter, by filling up his abbreviations as ‘Kadak Ladka Rahul’.
KXIP have been on a roll due to the brilliance of KL up the order for his team. While receiving his Man of the Match award in their opening match of the season, the Karnataka star claimed that it was good to break some records as he was tagged as a Test batsman.
For those unaware, Rahul smashed the fastest half-century (14 balls) in the history of IPL, against Delhi Daredevils at Mohali.
Sehwag, the coach of the KXIP, however, had shown belief in Karnataka trio. As a result, went all out for the likes of Karun Nair, Mayank Agarwal and the birthday boy Rahul in particular.

Concurrently, Rahul is placed at seventh spot in the most run-getters of this season. He scored 135 runs in three outings at the average of 45. The exciting talent has registered the highest score of 51 which came against Delhi Daredevils.
The next assignment of KXIP is to continue with their momentum against the table toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad at their home ground in Mohali on April 19.
