As much as he entertained with his bat during his illustrious career, Virender Sehwag is perhaps giving his millions of followers, even more, entertainment after hanging his boots albeit on a different platform- social media. Hailed by many as the Twitter king, the former cricketer has created a huge fan base on Twitter with his funny and witty remarks. And it all began with his hilarious birthday wishes.
The swashbuckling opener has made a habit of trolling his fellow cricketers or wishing them in his style on their birthdays and the latest to get a taste of Sehwag’s tweeting abilities is India allrounder, Hardik Pandya.
The Baroda star turned 24 on Wednesday (October 11), and Sehwag made sure to wish him in his style as he wrote: “Happy Birthday to one of the best modern day entertainer – my Kung Fu Pandya , @hardikpandya7 !.”

Well, Pandya is one of the best modern day entertainers. After a lukewarm start to his international career, the all-rounder has turned his career around in the last few months. The revival began with his sensational knock in the final of the Champions Trophy when he slammed 76 off just 43.
A few weeks later, he made his Test debut in Sri Lanka and justified the decision by scoring a half-century and a century in addition to picking up few wickets. He continued his show in the recently-concluded ODI series against Australia too, scoring 222 runs and picking up six wickets to bag the Man of the Series award.
