Virender Sehwag at it again! Wishes R. Ashwin in a comical way 1

Twitter as a medium of communication has spread like a wildfire in the cricketing fraternity, owing to the presence of former Indian opener and commentator Virender Sehwag. The swashbuckling batsman, who in his days was among the greatest entertainers, continues to enthrall his fans post his retirement on Twitter.

After India completed their annihilation of New Zealand at Indore, Sehwag was at it yet again. R. Ashwin, who took a career best 13 wickets in the third test, was adjudged the Man of the Series for his outstanding performance. It was the 7th instance, when Ashwin was named the Man of the series. On this, Sehwag tweeted that Ashwin understood the need to finish games quickly, in order to spend more time with his family.

This tweet brought about a response from Ashwin, who was thoroughly amused. To add to the fun, the better halves of both Sehwag and Ashwin, joined in the conversation, to make it an affair worth remembering. Below, are the tweets mentioned.

Ashwin, who was named the Man of the series, was ecstatic with his performance. “It was a wicket where you had to work hard to pick wickets,” said Ashwin. “There was some help in the second innings with the bowler’s footmarks. We had to change up the pace and that is because I had to get them to drive as there was no bounce and the ball was not carrying to short leg or leg slip. I wanted to get them lunging outside off-stump. Special mention I have to give to Bhuvi, Shami and Umesh, through the series they bent their back and got the ball to reverse and obviously Jaddu keeps one end tight,” said Ashwin.
