VVS Laxman Confident Of India Dominating Australia Across All Formats
Former Indian batting great VVS Laxman is looking very positive for the Indian Cricket Team ahead of their tour to Australia. Laxman has heaped high praise on the Indian team who dominated the Kangaroos, the last time they visited them.
Team India registered their first Test series win in Australia back in 2018 under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. VVS Laxman believes that this time, the Indian Cricket Team will raise the bar even higher.
VVS Laxman said in an interview, “I think India has a very good chance (of winning series) in all three formats. its good the way the itinerary has been planned; it works in India’s favour. The reason is that we are starting off with white ball ( first three-match of ODIs series and three-match of T20Is ).”
Team India Has Had A Staggering Record In The Last Couple Of Years
The last time that the Men in Blue toured Australia, the tour was none short of a historic debacle of the mighty Australians. The two teams locked horns in a T20I series wherein, both the teams could win only one game each and the three-match series level up at 1-1.
However, it was the Test series wherein the Indians thrashed the mighty Aussies.
The Men in Blue dominated the Kangaroos in the Australian summer as Virat Kohli and his men looked a stubborn force that was ready to beat Australia on their own turf. They did so by winning the four-match Test series 2-1.
The series marked history as it was India’s first-ever Test series win against Australia in Australia. Later, the India National Cricket Team also won the three-match ODI series 2-1 to end the tour on a bright note.
