Australian cricket had a lowest point in their history last year. Their players David Warner and Steven Smith were caught using sandpaper in an effort to get an advantage.
The status of Australia had dealt a major blow both inside their country as well as across the cricket fraternity. David Warner, Steve Smith were banned for 12 months, while Cameron Bancroft got banned for 9 months.
However, while they are still recovering from the incident, another major similar thing might have happened at The Oval. The man in question this time is leg spinner Adam Zampa.

The 27-year old was having a tough time dealing with Indian batsmen on the day. But during 24th over, some mysterious activity was caught on camera. At first, Zampa was seen taking his hair band from his left pocket.
But later the spinner repeatedly put his right hand into his right pocket. And used it to shine one side of the ball. He repeated this multiple times and seemingly applied something on the ball before he began to bowl.
Here is the video where Zampa can be seen doing dubious things to the ball

Australia will be hoping that Adam Zampa did not do any malpractice against India. Any involvement in similar incident would dent the game’s reputation back in Australia.
On the other hand, Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan were cautious in their approach in the initial overs. However, once they weathered the initial overs, both the players took off and increased run rate in no time.

Australian skipper Aaron Finch is clearly undone on the day. Both the players took minimal of risks and scored pretty quickly. Rohit Sharma managed to score fifty before he got dismissed. On the other hand, Shikhar Dhawan scored his maiden World Cup hundred in 2019.
At the time of writing, both Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli are going start. India are clearly looking like the dominant side against Australia. Australian team needs to come up with something quickly, if they want to win this game.
