Watch: Bhuvneshwar Kumar Castles Aaron Finch To Give India Dream Start

Australia skipper Aaron Finch’s lean form with the bat continued in the ongoing second ODI against India at the Adelaide Oval. The right-handed batsman has been under immense pressure to deliver after his lukewarm show with the bat in recent months. He has crossed the 50-run mark only twice in 25 innings across formats since his monumental 172-run knock against Zimbabwe in the T20I tri-series. During this lean phase, he averages only 18.96 with the bat.
Since the ODI series at home against South Africa in November last year, Finch has registered scores of 5, 41, 11 and 6. In fact, since his 172-run knock in the T20I, he has not scored a single fifty in 11 innings while being dismissed seven times between 0 and 7. He had a forgettable Test series against India and his form in the ODIs is not good either.
Finch managed just 6 runs in the first ODI before being cleaned up by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. And his form deserted him again in the second ODI. New day, new game as well as a new venue made no difference to Finch’s fortune as Bhuvneshwar Kumar castled him once again. The Indian pacer had bowled a fuller delivery which was angled in. The out-of-form Australia opener tried to hit it over the bowler’s head but all he managed was an inside edge. The ball went on to destroy the stumps, leaving the Indian camp delighted.
Here is the wicket:

Meanwhile, Australia lead the three-match series after winning the first game in Sydney by 34 runs. Batting first, they scored 288 for 5 before restricting India to 254 for 9.
