It was Veda, who reminded the Mithali of their dancing skills and a familiar song, when a ground disc jockey in Derby’s County cricket ground played a peppy number during the sublime show from the explosive batter and vice-captain Harmanpreet Kaur against Australian bowlers following the slow start from openers.
The calm and composed characters in the field of cricket, as they always go out with a certain frame of a mind to anchor the innings for India, as the video revealed opener Smriti Mandhana too joined the entertainment by wearing a smile on his face.
The official Twitter handle of Women’s World Cup revealed Mithali and Veda were entertaining the crowd off the field while lauding the efforts of Harmanpreet.

Rising against the tide Mithali and Veda has played a pivotal role for India, as the video has become an instant hit over the internet and has received all praises for the efforts Team India put throughout the ongoing Women’s World Cup.
Moreover, the duo was caught surprised after the camera panned in to record their activity when Kaur was plundering runs against Meg Lenning-led Southern Stars after India opted to bat first.

Interestingly, when Mithali and Veda realised they were on the giant screen after Kaur completed a blistering century, both shared a laugh while trying to hide from the camera.
Before the emphatic win, Harmanpreet blasted 171 off 115 balls which included 20 boundaries and seven sixes at the strike-rate of 148.70.
Mithali chipped in with 36 off 61 balls, as Veda remained unbeaten on 16 off 10 deliveries which saw India posting 281 for the loss of four wickets in the rain-truncated semi-final.
