Hardik Pandya had a day to forget in Wellington as India beat New Zealand by seven wickets to keep the series alive.

Team India had a good day at the office during the second T20I against New Zealand in Auckland. After the poor outing in the first game, the players bounced back strongly and helped the team win the game by seven wickets to draw level in the three-match series. Batting first, New Zealand posted 158 for 8 in the allotted 20 overs. Colin de Grandhomme top-scored for the hosts, scoring a quickfire 50 with the help of four sixes. For India, Krunal Pandya was the most impressive bowler, picking up 3 for 28.

In reply, India comfortably chased down the total with 7 wickets and as many deliveries remaining. Rohit Sharma (50) and Shikhar Dhawan (30) set the platform for the chase by adding 79 runs for the first wicket before MS Dhoni (20) and Rishabh Pant (40) took the team over the line.

But while most of the players had a good day in the game, the same cannot be said about Hardik Pandya. He ended up conceding 36 runs off his four overs. But that was not it. One of the fans in the stands took a sly dig at the allrounder by holding a banner, reminding the cricketer about his crass comment on a popular television talk show.

The allrounder had gone over the board as he gave the fans a sneak peek in his lavish lifestyle while speaking on television. But the flamboyant player perhaps revealed a bit too much in the show. Despite being such a popular figure in the country, the Baroda star gave answers that one can least expect from a cricketer in this cricket-obsessed nation. His disturbing remark about his family being open and how he told them, ‘Aaj mai karke aaya,’ after losing his virginity took the fans by utter surprise.

The allrounder had also revealed how he once took his parents to a party where they asked him which woman he was seeing, and he pointed at all of them one by one.

And the spectator made sure to give Pandya a hard time by holding the banner which read:

‘Pandya Aaj Karke Aaya Kya?’

The picture and the video of the fan holding that banner has already gone viral.

Here is a clip showing the fan holding the banner:
