Want to be a professional cricketer?
Yo-Yo test, the mandatory fitness test in the Indian cricketing circle, has been a major worry for the cricketers recently. While it was just a fitness drill, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) now has made it a norm to pass the test before breaking into the team.
While many players have struggled to clear it, Aazeen, the elder daughter of Gautam Gambhir has cleared it with quite an ease
Meanwhile, this has garnered a wide range of debate among fitness trainers and cricketers. However, Team India coach Ravi Shastri and skipper Virat Kohli have backed it strictly in the recent past.
The much-hyped Yo-Yo test has been in the news in the past weeks for various reasons. As many as three top players – Ambati Rayudu, Sanju Samson, and Mohammed Shami failed to clear the test recently following the culmination of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
However, it looked like a cakewalk for the one-year-old daughter of Gautam Gambhir, Aazeen.
The cricketer from Delhi took to Twitter to post a video of his daughter.
Moreover, in the video, she cleared all hurdle convincingly.
“Looks like my elder one Aazeen has cleared the Yo-Yo test!!! What do you think @YUVSTRONG12 @harbhajan_singh @sachin_rt ?” the tweet read.

Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir stepped down from the captaincy of the Delhi Daredevils (DD) midway through the eleventh season of Indian Premier League (IPL). He struggled to bring the team to winning ways and failed with the bat as well.
On the international front, Gambhir’s career took a wrong turn since the introduction of Shikhar Dhawan.
So far, Gambhir has represented India in 58 Tests and 147 ODIs, scoring over 9,000 runs with the help of 20 centuries and 56 half-centuries. He has also played 37 T20Is and has scored 932 runs including seven fifties.
