Indian pace bowler Ishant Sharma has been doing round in the social media after the hilarious facial expressions he made to Australian captain Steve Smith while bowling during the second test in Bengaluru.
The 28-year old has played a key role in India winning the test match alongside other bowlers as the hosts won the game comfortably by 75 runs at the end after being in a difficult situation for the first two days of the test match.
Speaking after the test match, Ishant Sharma has revealed the real reason why he made those expressions to the Aussie skipper Steve Smith while speaking to VVS Laxman and Kapil Dev in the post match show.
He revealed that he got irritated by Smith who made different verbal screams after every ball and the pacer has decided to give Smith his won medicine. His expressions has got the social media talking for the past few days as all the Indian players on the ground have found it very hilarious and amusing.
The 28-year old has also insisted that the team came together after their Pune defeat and have worked on their weaknesses to produce a memorable win in Bengaluru as the series is now all squared up at 1-1.
Both Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav had bowled their heart out during the test and were highly praised by former Indian skipper Kapil Dev on the post match as they hold the key for Virat Kohli in the upcoming two test matches.
India and Australia will now travel to Ranchi for the third test match as the series is on the line for both the teams. The third test will commence on March 16 (next Thursday) and could very well decide the winner of the series. Meanwhile, India will be hoping to continue their momentum after a terrific comeback in the second test.
