Delhi Capitals’ pacer Ishant Sharma is set to mark his comeback to the Indian Premier League as he will be playing for his home franchise for the first time.
He had missed IPL 2018 after going unsold but his performances in Test cricket saw Ishant making a comeback to the league this season.
His base price was Rs. 75 Lakhs. Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals bid for him where Delhi ended up as the winner at Rs 1.10 Crore.
The Shreyas Iyer-led side had its first practice session at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium where Ishant grabbed the limelight with a one-handed stunner.
During the fielding session, he pulled off one of the best catches.
First, he walked forward but after anticipating that ball would go way behind, he ran back and then timed his jump to perfection to grab the ball.
