Jasprit Bumrah made his international debut in 2016 and within a couple of years, he has become one of the best bowlers in the world across formats. No matter what the format or what the conditions are, Bumrah rarely disappoints. He arrived at the international stage as a white-ball specialist and hit the ground running.

His ability to extract swing with the new ball, nail yorkers with the old one has made him a tough customer to deal with for the batsmen. Earlier this year, he made his Test debut in South Africa and impressed once again. In just 6 Tests, he has picked up 28 wickets including two five-wicket hauls.

But in these last couple of years, the world rarely saw whether he could bat or not. As usual for the tail-enders, he bats at number ten or eleven. But it seems, Bumrah possesses a bit more talent than the typical tail-enders. The BCCI recently posted a video showing Bumrah taking the bowlers to the cleaners in the nets.

Jasprit Bumrah is currently in Australia with the Indian team for the full-fledged series.

The tour, featuring 3 T20Is, 4 Tests, and 3 ODIs, will commence on November 21 with the first T20I at Brisbane.

After the three-match T20I series, the two teams will compete in a four-Test series, the first of which will be played from December 6, 2018, at Adelaide Oval.

The second Test will be at the Perth Stadium and will begin from December 16. After a week’s break, the two teams will travel to Melbourne for the Boxing Day Test which begins on December 26 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The fourth and final Test between the two countries will begin from January 3, 2019 at Sydney Cricket Ground. At the end of the Test series, the two sides will square off in 3-match ODI series, the first of which will be played in SCG on January 12. The tournament will conclude with the third ODI at MCG on January 18.
