Former India, skipper MS Dhoni, once again won millions of heart as he stopped his car in the middle of the journey to have a chat with a young fan.
Meanwhile, Dhoni is currently out of action as the selectors decided to rest him from the T20I series against Windies. India completely outplayed the visitors to seal the series 3-0. MS Dhoni has struggled to find the right touch as he couldn’t put runs in the last few tour.
Owing to poor form, the selectors dropped him from the T20I series against Australia as well. Thus, they gave an extended run to young Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik. However, later, chief selector MSK Prasad made it clear that Dhoni is still the number one choice as the wicket-keeper.
“Yes, definitely (Rishabh Pant selected as a batsman only) but if a need arises he will be the backup keeper,” Prasad said earlier.
“It is no brainer who is our No 1 wicketkeeper. In search of the second wicketkeeper, we have given opportunities to DK and right now we are giving an opportunity to Rishabh Pant. At an appropriate time, we will take a call as to who is the best among the two,” he added.
MS Dhoni, meanwhile, is spending some quality moments with his family during this break. He has no further assignment in this year. Although he is on the verge of his cricketing career, Dhoni is second to none when it comes to conducting himself on the field.
However, he is a different person off the field. He loves to pull pranks on his teammates as well as interacts with his fans. Well, recently another facet of Dhoni’s personality was witnessed. A video is going viral over the internet showing the World Cup-winning skipper interacting with a child. Sitting calmly in the car, Dhoni talked with his little fan and shook his hand before departing.
