Watch: MS Dhoni's Slow Yet Brilliant Piece Of Work From Behind The Stump 1

There are very sights better than Mahendra Singh Dhoni whipping the bails off in flash from behind the stumps. The former India skipper, known for his razor-sharp reflexes and possessing probably the safest and the quickest hands behind the wickets in the world cricket now, has wowed the fans with some unbelievable stumping in his illustrious career so far.

However, the second One-Day International between India and Windies on Sunday (June 25) saw an unusual yet quite impressive piece of glove-work from India’s most successful wicketkeeper. Chasing a daunting 310, the home side was looking well out of the contest after being reduced to 132 for 5 in the 30th over. But Windies skipper Jason Holder along with Roston Chase frustrated the Indian team for a while. However, the duo’s fight was soon ended courtesy of Kuldeep Yadav’s brilliant bowling and the Dhoni’s prowess behind the stumps.

Looking to send one over the boundary rope off the bowling of the chinaman bowler, Holder danced down the track and went for a wild heave. However, Kuldeep, who was bowling for the first time in ODIs, defeated the Windies batsman all ends up with a brilliant wrong one. Holder was no where near the ball and failed to make any contact with it. Consequently, the ball went to Dhoni who instead of taking the bails off immediately like his usually does, wait for a good few seconds before dislodging the stumps.

Here is a clip of that dismissal:
