Watch: Ritika Sajdeh Absolutely Pleased As Rohit Sharma Scores Yet Another Ton

Continuing his sensational form with the bat since returning to the team after a lengthy injury lay, Rohit Sharma blazed away to yet another century in the ongoing fourth One-Day International against Sri Lanka in Colombo.

The right-handed batsman had endured a tough time during the fag end of the last season and earlier part of this year when a thigh injury kept him out of the home series against England, Bangladesh, and Australia. However, he has hit the ground running since making a comeback to the team during the ICC Champions Trophy.

After scoring a century and a couple of half-centuries in the Champions Trophy, he was rested for the series against West Indies but has looked in supreme form in the ongoing series against Sri Lanka. He scored a half-century and a century in the second and third ODIs of the ongoing series respectively and scored another to take his tally to 13 in the 50-over format.

Rohit’s latest century got praised by one and all present in the stands, but one person was particularity delighted with the feat, and she was none other than his wife, Ritika Sajdeh. After Rohit had led Mumbai Indians to the IPL title, she had revealed how tough it was for the batsman to spend the time on the sidelines and looked very much pleased as the India opener played yet another brilliant knock since making his comeback.

“It’s not just because you captained your team to yet another IPL title but the fact that I’ve seen you go through possibly the hardest six months of your life and come out stronger, faster and more determined than ever,” she wrote in a post on Instagram.

Here is a clip of Ritika’s celebration:

But just like the millions out there i did not put in the hard work needed to achieve my dream and now i have become a fan instead of the player. Anyway, writing for sports has kept me closer to this field. One more thing, yours sincerely is a die-hard Liverpool fan.
