Watch: Sachin Tendulkar Startle Fans by Joining them for Street Cricket
Former India skipper, Sachin Tendulkar had stunned many motorists by rolling down his car window and telling them the need of wearing helmets.
However, recently he startled everyone by getting down from his car and playing a game of cricket on the busy streets of Mumbai.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, Sachin can be seen knocking a few balls with a group of young boys. Moreover, Tendulkar left the boys in shock, and their reaction was the best part of the video.
Many people also came down to shake hands with Mumbai’s favourite son. A few people also got the opportunity to shot selfies with the legend of the game.
Since the video got viral on Internet, other users started posting the full video. Sachin got down from the car to play cricket with those young kids.
Meanwhile, it was this street cricket that compelled Sachin’s family to take him to a cricket academy. Early in his days, Sachin played a lot of cricket outside him home.
Sachin is currently associated with Mumbai
The master blaster is currently with the Mumbai Indians (MI) squad, as a part of the support staff. However, the defending champions had the worst start to this edition losing three games on a trot.
They are currently placed at the bottom of the table and will look to turn things around.
They will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore later today (Tuesday) at the Wankhede Stadium.
Sachin during his playing days had also represented MI in the T20 league. In 78 matches, he amassed 2,334 runs at an average of 34.83 and a strike rate of 119.81.
Sachin had also won the Orange Cap in 2010 when he scored 615 runs from 15 appearances.
