Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s form with the ball in the death overs are fast becoming a major area of concern for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. The pacer has been the pace spearhead of the team for quite some time and has done exceedingly well in the last three years or so.
However, his form in the ongoing season has not been up to the mark. In Sunrisers Hyderabad’s first game of the season, he was taken to cleaners by Andre Russell when the team needed him the most. With the Kolkata Knight Riders needed 34 runs from the last overs, Bhuvneshwar had the chance to seal the game for his side. However, he ended up conceding 21 runs in the 19th over as the Sunrisers went on to lose the game by 6 wickets.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar had the chance to get back to his best in the ongoing game against Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad. Well, the India star started brightly and gave away just ten runs off his first two overs. Kane Williamson then brought him to bowl the 18th over with Sanju Samson going hammer and tongs.
However, the right-arm pacer disappointed again. Samson took him to cleaners. Samson started the over by hitting a maximum over extra-cover. The next two balls went for fours. Bhuvneshwar then broke the boundary-cycle by conceding a double before Samson hit two fours to end the over on a stunning note.
Here is a clip of that over from Bhuvneshwar Kumar:

Samson, meanwhile, went on to score the first ton of this season. He remained unbeaten on 102 off just 55 deliveries, helping Royals post a daunting total of 198.
