It looks like these are merry days for Indian cricket team, having white-washed Sri Lanka 3-0 at their home, the players are now cherishing their time off and are taking on to social media platforms to express their feelings.
Shikhar Dhawan and Hardik Pandya both had a very successful series in the Island nation and it seems like both of them have bonded pretty well and enjoyed each other’s company.
Shikhar posted a video on Instagram of him and Hardik Pandya enjoying an auto ride with a traditional Punjabi song playing in the back ground. Shikhar, who was making a comeback to the Test side scored heavily at the top of the order with 398 runs at an average of 89.50 in three Test matches.
He also made full use of this opportunity, as he was recalled to the side as a replacement for Murali Vijay, who’s been out action for a very long time due to a wrist injury. The southpaw scored two centuries which earned him the man of the series award.

On the other hand, Hardik Pandya who was playing his debut series in the Test arena impressed everyone with his all round capabilities. He also scored his maiden Test match century in the final match played at Pallekele. He impressed with his bowling performances during the three match series bowling his heart out and providing crucial breakthroughs at important junctures.
With the final Test match finishing under three days, the victory earned the players two extra days off the field. The two teams will next go head to head in a five-match One Day series starting on 20th August.
Both Shikhar Dhawan and Hardik Pandya would now look forward to continuing their good form in the upcoming limited overs series as well.
