Watch: Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir found jovial in practice session 1

Indian captain Virat Kohli and veteran opener Gautam Gambhir have been spotted happy together as they have now finally appeared to have put their differences aside for the greater good.

The duo have been very good with each other as Gautam Gambhir have also dedicated a man of the match award too Virat Kohli when Kohli scored his maiden ODI hundred against Sri Lanka when India chased a record total at Eden Gardens.

However, things went totally soar in the Indian Premier League when Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli went for an on-field brawl which has distanced their friendship. But both the players have come over the incident.

When asked about their IPL incident that happened in 2012 at Chinnaswamy Stadium, both players have answered in a way that they are over it now.

“Some things happen in the heat of the moment…it’s nothing”, Gambhir said

Kohli also said: “what’s done on the field is done”.

The 34-year old Gambhir will make a comeback to the Indian test team in Kolkata after two long years and have taken part in the training session ahead of the match which will begin tomorrow. He is brought as a replacement for KL Rahul who was injured while playing the first test match at Kanpur.

The duo was spotted together talking to each other and smiling along with Wriddhiman Saha as the video is taking rounds in social media. It is a welcome sign for both the sets of fans as both the players are very important for new coach Anil Kumble as he looks to build a team over the next 12 months.
