The new-look Indian side, led by the young and energetic Virat Kohli, is full of youngsters. After the retirement of stalwarts like MS Dhoni, Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan, the selectors have pinned their hopes on the youngsters and the less-experienced players and they have fully reaped the rewards for it. The Virat Kohli-led side has been doing consistently well and has been tipped by many to dominate world cricket for a long time.

In the last season, they defeated West Indies in the away series before getting the better of New Zealand, England, Bangladesh and Australia at home. The long run of winning the matches and the series have seen the Indian side reaching the pinnacle of Test cricket and consolidating their position.

And one of the main reasons behind the team’s brilliant performances on a consistent despite being an inexperienced one is the camaraderie among the players. The players totally enjoy each other’s company and it reflects their impressive performances on the ground. Majority of the current Indian players are still finding their feet in international cricket and they desperately needed a good environment in the dressing room to get settled down. Well, seeing fellow players who are young and inexperienced must have given them the confidence but the way they have been supported by their skipper Kohli has also made their task of getting accustomed to the rigours of international cricket easier.

Captain Kohli is known for his no-nonsense approach on the cricket field but he is a different personality altogether off the field. He loves to pull out pranks, explore new places with his teammates and all these factors have not only helped him to establish his reputation as a good captain among his teammates but has also assisted him to build a strong team of confident youngsters who are ready to take on the world. Over the last one year or so, the fans have seen several videos and photos showing how much the India skipper loves to create funny moments with his peers and a video that has emerged recently has once showed why he is so popular and adored by his teammates.

In the video, the Delhi-born batsman could be seen distracting KL Rahul with funny gestures when the latter was giving an interview to Sanjay Manjrekar.

KL Rahul, meanwhile, is out of action with a shoulder injury and is planning to make a comeback during the proposed series against Sri Lanka in August.   On the other hand, Virat Kohli, who had a forgettable Indian Premier League, is gearing up to lead India in the upcoming Champions Trophy.
