Legendary Wasim Akram could not control his anger on Wednesday (February 22) after Karachi Kings suffered their fourth defeat in the ongoing season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Things have not been going well for the Karachi-based outfit this season. In five matches so far, they have suffered 3 defeats. The margin in 3 of those defeats have been by 6 runs or less. They began their campaign with 3 straight losses before winning against Lahore Qalandars to register their first win.

However, the win could not change their momentum as they suffered a defeat in their fifth game too. It was a close loss too as Multan Sultans beat them by 3 runs in a thrilling contest.

Karachi Kings needed 22 runs off the final over while chasing 197. Captain Imad Wasim and Ben Cutting were up against Abbas Afridi. The over started on a good note for the Karachi-based franchise. The first ball was a no-ball and Wasim hit it for a six.

It was followed by a single and a wide before Ben Cutting hit the second for a huge six to bring down the equation to 7 runs from last 4 balls. And what followed thereafter was nothing less than a disaster for Karachi Kings. In the last four balls, they lost Cutting’s wicket and could collect only three runs as Multan Sultans registered a thrilling win.

Wasim Akram loses cool:

With Karachi Kings exploding on the field and throwing away yet another opportunity to win a game this year, their president Wasim Akram just could not control his emotions. A video of his reaction following the match has gone viral on social media.

In the video, the ever-smiling Wasim Akram could be seen losing his cool and venting his frustration by kicking the chairs in front of him.
