The last season of the Indian Premier League was an absolute nightmare for Royal Challengers Bangalore. They had entered the season after finishing runners-up in the previous season. With the likes of Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers in the team, they started the started the season as one of the favourites.
However, it did not take long for the favourites tag to disappear. The perennial underachievers of the league totally failed to deliver the goods. They could win only 3 games in the entire season and finished at the bottom.
Ahead of the eleventh season, the Royal Challengers have built a solid squad once again. They have retained the core of the team in the form of Kohli, de Villiers, Sarfraz Khan and Yuzvendra Chahal. In addition, they have bought the likes of Brendon McCullum, Chris Woakes and Washington Sundar. As a result, they are once again tipped to go all the way in the tournament.
Well, the mood in the Royal Challengers camp looks upbeat at the moment. And Chahal’s latest tweet post very much proves that. The leg-spinner posted a snippet of a commercial shooting where he could be seen enjoying with Kohli and McCullum.

Meanwhile, the eleventh season will kick start on April 7. Defending champions Mumbai Indians will take on Chennai Super Kings in the season-opener. On the other hand, the Royal Challengers will start their campaign against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 8.
