West Indies reveal a scary T20 squad for the series against New Zealand

The West Indians might not be the most lethal force in the circuit in the Test and One Day International formats, but they are when it comes to the 20 overs game. The extreme power-hitting capabilities of the Caribbeans make the most dominant bunch in the shortest format of the game. Even the dominant Indians were no match to Carlos Brathwaite and his men when the two forces collide in their last encounter.
After a thumping defeat against New Zealand in the white jersey, the West Indians will look for revenge in the format they are most comfortable with. The West Indies Cricket Board just revealed the name of the lads who will don the maroon jersey of the West Indies for the T20 matches, and it looks threatening.
Carlos Braithwaite has been named the captain of the group as expected while Chris Gayle will be a massive boost for the team. Kieron Pollard, Chadwick Walton, Marlon Samuels all made it to the squad which makes the batting line up a dominant and turbulent force. The only miss int he batting line up is Evin Lewis who backed out due to personal reasons. Leis would have been an icing on the cake with his incredible capabilities as a T20 player, and we witnessed the same in the Caribbean Premier League earlier this year.
T20 specialist and mystery bowler Sunil Narine has been in terrific form in the 20 over format lately and is a big plus for the team. Samuel Badree, Jerome Taylor, Rovman Powell, Jason Mohammed, Kenrick Willams, Ronsford Beaton and Rayad Emrit made the squad complete.
The Windies SQUAD:
Carlos Brathwaite (Captain), Samuel Badree, Ronsford Beaton, Rayad Emrit, Andre Fletcher, Chris Gayle, Jason Mohammed, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Rovman Powell, Marlon Samuels, Jerome Taylor, Chadwick Walton, Kesrick Williams.
