The Selection Panel of the West Indies Cricket Board announced the 13-member squad for the second Test against Pakistan, starting on Sunday at Kensington Oval in Barbados.

The three-Test series between West Indies and Pakistan got underway at Sabina Park in Jamaica with both teams struggling in the midst of challenging transition periods. The hosts lost some quick wickets early on but managed to bounce back through Roston Chase and Shane Dowrich, both of whom scored the fifties, to end the day with a total of 244/7.

Pakistani bowlers stepped up to the plate and bowled their side to an improbable victory in a match affected by rain. With just a 121-run lead in the first innings of a match that saw almost an entire day lost to rain — only 11.3 overs were possible on Day 2, the bowlers had to ensure West Indies get skittled out for a low score.

Yasir Shah responded in style, picking six and he was supported by pacers as they knocked out West Indies for 152 in the second innings, leaving Pakistan with a target of just 32 which they did following some hiccups.Pakistan won by 7 wickets at last.

The third and final Test will be played at Windsor Park, Dominica.
