On surfaces that were bound to assist him, it was imperative for Ashwin to get back to form. The lanky offie managed to do just about that as he ended up with four wickets in two innings. It was heartening to see Ashwin bowl attacking lines and give the ball some air rather than just bowling defensive lines. An economy rate of fewer than four runs per over was another positive.
