Who is Utkarsha Pawar, Ruturaj Gaikwad’s wife-to-be:

Utkarsha Pawar has made the fans curious as they want to know more and more about their favourite batsman’s wife-to-be. Born in 1998, Utkarsha Pawar was related to cricket even before she met Ruturaj Gaikwad. The 24-year old plied her trade for Maharashtra in domestic circuit and is an allrounder.

She is a fast-bowler and a right-handed batter. However, she has not been active in recent months. Her last appearance in competitive cricket came almost 18 month back. As of now, she is reportedly studying at the Institute of Nutrition and Fitness Sciences (INFS) in Pune.

Ruturaj and Utkarsha will tie the knot this week on June 3 and we are wishing them the best of luck for the new and really special chapter in their lives.

Meanwhile, the batsman recently pulled out of India’s squad for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship final due to the wedding. He was named in the squad as a back-up opener. Uncapped opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has replaced Ruturaj in the India squad for the crucial clash against Australia. The final is scheduled to be played from June 7 at the Oval in London.
