Who Said What - About Steven Smith's DRS Controversy In Bengaluru Test 1

The ongoing series between India and Australia has been marred by the DRS saga that took place on the final day of the second Test at Bengaluru.

The incident happened when Australia skipper Steven Smith was caught red-handed seeking help from the dressing-room on a DRS call. The right-handed batsman, who was given out after being trapped in front by Umesh Yadav, considered a review, discussing the subject with his partner Peter Handscomb before the middle-order batsman appeared to suggest his skipper to look towards the dressing room. To everyone’s surprise, Smith did the same before he was stopped from doing so and was sent on his way by umpire Nigel Llong.

Smith, speaking after the match, called the moment a “brain fade” while his Indian counterpart Virat Kohli did not accept the “brain fade” claims and went on to accuse the Australian team of seeking help from the change-room on DRS referrals on several occasions.
