We should accept day night cricket with open minds: Rahul Dravid
We should accept day night cricket with open minds: Rahul Dravid

Integrity and inclusiveness

Rajasthan Royals under his coaching was a consistent performer in IPL. They finished fourth, fifth and third in the last three years respectively.  His coaching system has already applauded by cricket community.  The reputation he  built being the Rajasthan Royals coach monetized into the coaching Indian U 19 coach. Nobody raises voice against him as Indians knew that India’s future generation of cricketers is at the safest hand. Rahul is a self-styled professional, who doesn’t react even when his team is not doing well,  as he knows to sacrifice lucrative but meaningless post like BCCI’s three-member  Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC)  which is comprised of three gems of Indian cricket Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, and VVS Laxman.  Rahul denied the offer from BCCI as he sets his goal after the retirement that he wants to be a great coach.

BCCI unofficially approaches him to take over the rein of the most difficult coaching job in India, but he didn’t rule out his wish to be a coach of Men in Blue in future. Possibly, He wants to take more time to prepare himself. As Rajasthan Royals were suspended for two years due to their owner’s involvement in spot-fixing, Dravid was approached by Delhi Daredevils which has been consistently finished at the bottom of the league except two good seasons.
