A far-out one-day series has been arranged between West Indies and England before the world Twenty20 tournament as they are to abide by FTP requirements (the Tests are held next year). Because the 50-over World Cup tournament is just a year away, both sides will get the cream, will be benefitted by this odd ODI series. While a little repeating of confinement is needed for England, West Indies can keep on their success after the shared series in New Zealand .

This prolonged three-match practice series for the Twenty20, which will be held in Barbados will be taken as one-day international for both the teams. Yet this is found truer for the host than England. Dwayne Bravo has been handed the responsibility of the team WI for this series rather than Darren Sammy, which makes the WI squad slightly different from the T20 series, but England has constructed their team with the goal on the T20 to follow.

But the two cricket sensation from two sides will not be able to play for their respective teams, Caribbean storm Chris Gayle has been ruled out because of his injury and he must be fit before the T20 World Cup, whereas England starts their campaign after Kevin Pietersen got retired.

The last time when England played with England, Pietersen was chosen Man of the tournament. England had made their squad with Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler and Joe Root who are going to shine the middle order and WI has got player like Dwayne Smith, Marlon Samuels, Dwayne Bravo, Kieran Powell and Kirk Edwards.
