Brad Haddin effected as many as six dismissals against India in the first innings of the second test at The Gabba, Brisbane. With this, he equalled the Australian record of effecting more dismissal in an Test innings. Ian Healy, Wally Grout and Rod Marsh (all six catches to their name) held the Australian record which has Haddin inducted to it.

Haddin claimed the catches of Shikhar Dhawan, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Murali Vijay, Ajinkya Rahane and MS Dhoni to enter into the elite panel. Here is the list of top 5 wicket-keepers who have effected more dismissals in an innings.

As many as 20 wicket-keepers have effected 6 dismissals in an innings in Test cricket and the list includes India’s MS Dhoni, South Africa’s AB de Villiers and Mark Boucher, England’s Matt Prior etc.

MS Dhoni is the only wicket-keeper to effect 6 dismissals in an innings.
