All-rounder Vijay Shankar had played a couple of games for Team India at the World Cup. Unfortunately, he was ruled out due to a toe injury. Thus, he made way for talented Mayank Agarwal. Shankar is expected to recover in time.
Overall, he has impressed one and all on the field apart from his fielding. In the bowling, he had picked two wickets against Pakistan after Bhuvneshwar Kumar had pulled a hamstring injury during India-Pakistan on June 16 in Manchester.
Hardik Pandya:
Hardik Pandya had done an excellent job for Team India with bat and ball in the World Cup. The explosive batsman who’s known for his pyrotechnics had amassed 226 runs apart from taking ten wickets.
Furthermore, Pandya will be keen to continue on his improvement. He is ready to roll on the Caribbean shores.
