The veteran Mithali Raj, who is Team India’s ODI captain, has a courageous and bold personality. Under his captaincy, several youngsters like Harmanpreet and Smriti Mandhana nourished their batting skills. She led India’s women cricket team to new heights.
Apart from her captaincy, she has given noteworthy contributions with the bat. The right-hand batsman is the highest run-scorer in women’s international cricket and the only female cricketer to surpass the 6,000 run mark in Women’s One Day International matches.
Dedicating his 20 years to cricket, she has played 209 ODIs and 89 T20Is. Mithali has also represented India in 10 Test matches.
