Oh yes, you have read it right. In terms of a very interesting story currently running on NDTV, if South Africa is having former India coach Gary Kirsten with them, our Men in Blue will have cricket’s biggest star this Sunday. Followed by the fans and players all over, legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has reached Melbourne and is expected to cheer for the defending champions when they come face to face with Proteas in their second Pool B match of World Cup 2015.

Sachin Tendulkar, who is a known legend of six World Cups – will watch the India vs South Africa match in what is to be his first match of the prestigious tournament form the stands.

The gentlemen cricketer, now 41-year-old, who took a final bow from international cricket in 2013, will cheer the Men in Blue who had yielded their crucial win against arch-rivals Pakistan last Sunday. The presence of the little master should have an electrifying impact on the morale of MSDhoni led Team India.

Already, so many stories are being circulated in the media all around Kirsten – coach of the Indian team that won the World Cup in 2011. It is important to highlight that Kirsten is currently coaching the South Africans. There are a large number of people who believe that he would be functioning as the secret weapon.

But now, just with the presence of Sachin Tendulkar in the stands, the equation might have already shifted India’s way. It is a clear writing on the wall that every single player in the team has grown up watching the batsman either create or break records. So, as a die- hard supporter of Team India, I am among the millions of fans who believe that his presence will have a magical, mystical, miraculous and mercurial positive impact.

Now, as we assess the hard core ground realities, both Proteas and Indian teams have been working hard in the nets to ensure a win. So far, Team India have crushed Pakistan in their first match, whereas South Africa had defeated their neighbours Zimbabwe in a close encounter.

Well, unlike the destined wash out of Australia- Bangladesh encounter due to rain, both Proteas and Indians will leave no stone unearthed to scale their two points. This win will open gateway for the more glorious achievements in World Cup.
