Not many can really blame Naib as he was just handed captaincy duties prior to World Cup and with controversies also emerging in Afghanistan’s camp during the tournament, this team could never really do what was expected from it. At times, Naib’s decisions went wrong as well. They did have a chance to defeat Pakistan but failed to do so.
