Cricket Australia has unveiled its team of the tournament for the ICC World Championship Cycle of 2021-23 ahead of the much-awaited World Test Championship final between India and Australia. The experts have analyzed the performance of the players in each position to select the final 11 of the tournament.
Nine teams participated in the ICC World Championship cycle of 2021-23, as India and Australia have emerged as the two finalists of the tournament, and both teams will look to put on a fine show in the grand final to win their first WTC final championship in England.
Usman Khawaja (Australia) and Dimuth Karunaratne ( Sri Lanka) were picked as the opener of the team, as Khawaja has been phenomenally for the Baggy Green since his return to the Australian team playing an important role in taking their side to the WTC final, he also played some brilliant innings against India in BGT 2023, whereas the Dimuth Karunaratne has been a lone warrior for the Sri Lankan team leading them in the red-ball, as he has been consistently performing for his side in the last couple years.
