Virat Kohli can back himself and to make the impossible look routine has to be seen to be believed he also possesses the skill to improvise when required, turning good deliveries into boundaries to chase down the total in all three formats of the game.
They Just Need To Forget About The Scoreboard And Go And Put Up A Partnership – Sourav Ganguly
Sourav Ganguly feels that the Indian team has already shown the ability to fight back from tough situations in red-ball cricket and recalled the team’s performance against Australia on their home soil, stating the brilliant knock of Rishabh Pant in the Gabba to help India win the series 2-1.
“India has the ability to make a comeback from this situation. India did against Australia, in Australia with batters like Pant and Jadeja. Especially Pant who batted magnificently out of their skin to see them through. If they can do it again, I am not too sure. They just need to forget about the scoreboard and go and play and put up a partnership,” Sourav Ganguly added.
The Indian team will try to restrict the Australian team in the 2nd innings anything under 400 runs lead, to give them a decent chance to chase down the total on the final day of the Ultimate World Test Championship final, as both the teams will fight out hard for their maiden ICC trophy in red-ball cricket.
