The wicket-keeper batsman is silent on the subject of retirement. Dhoni has taken a long break after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. He has spent his break on serving to his country, then enjoying the time with his family in America. He also played a golf tournament there and now as per reports that he is playing a cameo role in a Bollywood movie. The player is trying every profession but is silent on the future of cricket.

“I have always said that the decision to retire is anyone’s personal call. I feel the selectors should talk to Dhoni and ask him about his plans because if you play for India, you cannot select the series you want to play.”

Dhoni has made himself unavailable against South Africa and Bangladesh series. His unavailability has increased the speculations of his retirement. Dhoni’s experience is still needed for the team.

Will he remain in the team during T20I World Cup 2020? It is still a mystery as the player has not confirmed any future move.
