Karnataka vs Baroda
On Saturday, Karnataka won the toss and opted to bowl. Baroda’s captain Kedar Devdhar scored 52 from 38 balls and gave a good start to the team. Karnataka bowlers were not successful in halting the opposition which led the team to set a big target for them. Devdhar led the team to set the target of 197 runs (196/4).
The Karnataka openers set a good partnership and it was necessary to break the bond. Baroda bowler Lukman Meriwala picked the wicket of Luvnith Sisodia and was successful in breaking that partnership. But the pressure was released when Yusuf Pathan took the catch of Devdutt Padikkal in the next over.
Karun Nair gave some hope but Baroda won the match by 14 runs. Yusuf Pathan played a crucial part in the team as he also contributed through his bat. He scored 23* out off 16 balls.

The experienced player Yusuf Pathan has been not played for the Indian team for a very long time. He was part of the senior team for a short period. Due to his inconsistency, he lost the place in the national team. He has played 22 T20Is and scored 236 runs at the striking rate of 146.58 runs. Yusuf is not able to make a comeback in the team after 2012. But the player has not left his love for cricket and regularly plays domestic cricket as well as IPL.
