Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech are all set to get married and they have created a special type of invitation card for their marriage. They had roped in Sandy and Kapil Khurana to design their cards as they wanted the cards to look special. The family has been going through a lot of troubles as Yuvraj’s sister-in-law Akanksha Sharma openly spoke ill of Yuvraj in front of the media.
But all those things are over now and Yuvraj and Hazel are keen on concentrating on their marriage.
“They wanted to do something different and fun, so the reception invite features both of them and there will be a lot of cartoons and illustrations. The theme is cricket humour and we even coined a special term, YHPL”
YHPL mean Yuvraj and Hazel premier League and the theme of their invitation card is cricket humor. Sandy and Kapil Khurana is said to have done justice to Yuvraj and Hazel’s wants as they have also created postal stamps of caricatures of Yuvraj and Hazel in it.
Kapil quoted ““We are going with the same concept for the Goa wedding invites also. But since the Chandigarh wedding will be traditional, the card is white with gold embossing.”
Yuvraj also spoke about the preparations for his marriage with the model turned actress whom he met at a party last year after which they have been spotted together at many public events.
“You get married only once. A wedding is an occasion you want to celebrate with everyone. We were always sure we wanted to invite everyone to the wedding. It will be a three-four day affair. We will have a couple of events to make sure all my cricketer friends get to attend them. Preparations are in full swing,”
Yuvraj also said that he wants to wear something comfortable on his wedding day rather than something flashy. When asked about their honeymoon destination Yuvraj said “She likes to surf and it’s something I want to try. We want to keep it a secret because we don’t want the cameras in our faces. But yes, I’ll probably be the one carrying the surfboard on the beach.”
